Allen Otto is an Emmy Award-nominated filmmaker with over a decade of experience creating award-winning Documentaries, TV series, Commercials and Premium Content with an emphasis on politics, travel, identity, and culture.

Allen has produced commercial campaigns for Verizon, AT&T, IBM, Sprite, Adidas, DePOP, Montefiore Hospital, and The Chamber Music Society at Lincoln Center, and his work has been broadcast on HBO, CNN, Discovery+, Hulu, and VICELAND.

He is the co-creator and producer of the Emmy-nominated series Gaycation with Elliot Page, was an associate producer on the Emmy-winning HBO Series, VICE, and a member of the team responsible for developing and producing a new slate of original TV programming for the launch of VICELAND, under the direction of Spike Jonze.

In 2025, he released his debut feature film On Guard: A Story of American Youth, now available on APPLE TV.
